Rights and Use of Archive Content

In an effort to make the collections of the Manhattan historic sites available to the widest possible audience, the National Parks of New York Harbor Conservancy has partnered with the National Park Service to place photographs of items in its collections online. Where known, copyright status has been indicated; however due to the nature of archival collections, it is not always possible to identify this information. We are eager to hear from any rights owners, so that we may obtain accurate information.

The digitized collections displayed are accessible for personal, education and research purposes only. Digital files of higher resolutions may be available for editorial and commercial use depending on the copyright status of the item and the availability of personnel to fulfill such requests. There may be a reproduction fee associated with obtaining high resolution files. For more information, contact mhsarchive@nyharborparks.org.
